What is NLP?

Updated: Dec 3, 2020

Great question!... and there are multiple answers depending on who you talk to... that is the joy of NLP - it is so flexible it can suit the needs of each and everyone.

NLP was created in the early 70’s by Richard Bandler and John Grinder. It has been defined as ‘the study of the structure of subjective experience,’ (Dilts, 1980) and has been referred to as the 'Haynes Manual of our Minds'!

NLP provides a set of powerful philosophies, tools, attitudes and techniques which were created by modelling people who were exceptional in their field, so that we can become excellent in ours!

The level and depth of change you want is up to you. Just gaining a greater understanding of NLP and how our minds work will lead to a new outlook, approach and to greater happiness. You can also use your new tools to change unwanted emotions, beliefs, behaviours right the way through to discovering who you really are and your purpose in life. You become the architect of your mind and can then design the life you desire.

In this video, Emma share her own view on NLP and why it has changed her perspective on life and how it can help you too.
